This plant has two sets of saw toothed leaves, each at the end of a long stalk.
Oversized carnivorous plants, snapping flytraps are not nearly as large as their truly giant cousins, but are more mobile and can strike in an instant. They prefer prey of smaller than human size, luring birds and insects in with their nectar, but any unwary goblin, halfling or gnome that approaches them is fair game. Their tissues are relatively dry and burn easily compared to the swampy grounds they dwell in—snapping flytraps will typically flee from an enemy wielding fire.

Special Abilities
Reactive Strike (Ex) A snapping flytrap can make a bite attack against a creature within its reach that touches or strikes it. This attack functions as an attack of opportunity. If it hits with this attack, the snapping flytrap gains a +4 circumstance bonus to its CMB to grapple against that opponent on that attack.
Swallow Whole (Ex) If a snapping flytrap has an opponent swallowed, it cannot make attacks with that bite attack. If a creature cuts free of being swallowed, the snapping flytrap can still attack with that bite, but cannot swallow opponents whole with that set of jaws until it is fully healed.
